Privacy Policy

Logis is a home inventory and maintenance app published by AJ Labs LLC. This policy explains what the app collects, where it is kept, who can reach it, and how to take it out or delete it.

The short version: your records are yours. They are used to run the app for you and for nothing else. They are not sold, not rented, and not used for advertising.

What Logis collects

Account: Your email address, and a display name if you set one. If you sign in with Apple or Google, Logis receives the sign-in token that identifies your account. If you use a password, it is stored hashed, never in readable form.
Your records: The content you create in the app: homes, assets and their components, tasks and their steps, log entries, custom fields, tags, and service providers you add to your directory.
Files you upload: Photos and PDFs you attach to a record, and the pictures you set on a home, an asset or a component.
Device tokens: If you turn on reminders, Logis stores the notification token for your device so Apple can deliver them. It is used for nothing else.
Subscription status: Whether your subscription is active. Apple holds the purchase record and the payment details. Logis never sees your payment information.
Usage analytics: Anonymous product analytics, so it is possible to tell which features are actually used. Screen capture and automatic event capture are both turned off, and no personal information is attached to these events.

What Logis does not collect

No location data. No contacts. No cross-app or cross-site tracking. No data from advertising networks. Logis has no advertising in it and no plans for any.

Where it is stored

Your account, records and files are stored with Supabase, which provides the database, file storage and sign-in used by the app. Analytics events are stored with PostHog. Both are described below.

Who can see it

You can. Access is enforced in the database itself, by row-level security policies on every table that holds user data and on the file storage bucket. A request carrying your sign-in returns your rows and no one else's. This is not a filter applied by the app that could be bypassed by talking to the database directly, it is a rule the database applies to every query it receives.

AJ Labs LLC does not read your records as a matter of course. Access happens only where it is unavoidable to operate the service, for example diagnosing a fault you have reported, and it is limited to what that specific problem requires.

Getting your data out

Logis exports everything you have put into it, as JSON, which preserves the structure, and as CSV, which opens in a spreadsheet. Export is in Settings, and it is not behind the paywall. On the free tier you export the data you can see, which is the most recent six months of history. On a paid subscription you export all of it.

Deleting your account

Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. It asks you to confirm, because it cannot be undone.

Deletion is immediate and complete. Your database rows, your uploaded files and your sign-in account are all purged. There is no thirty day grace period and no archived copy kept behind the scenes, so export first if you want a backup. Backups taken for disaster recovery roll off on their normal schedule.

Services Logis relies on

These are the third parties involved, and what each one does:

Supabase: Database, file storage and authentication. This is where your account, records and uploads live.
PostHog: Anonymous product analytics. Automatic event capture and screen recording are disabled, and profiles are only created for events that are explicitly identified.
Apple: Sign in with Apple, subscription payments and billing, and delivery of push notifications. Apple holds your payment details, not Logis.
Google: Sign in with Google, if you choose it, and Firebase App Check, which verifies that requests are coming from a genuine copy of the app rather than from something impersonating it.
Cloudflare: Hosting for this website, privacy-preserving website analytics that sets no cookies, and a bot check on the forms here. This applies to the website, not to the app.

This website

Website analytics here are cookieless and aggregate, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner. If you give an email address to hear about the launch, it is used to email you about Logis and nothing else, the wording you agreed to is stored alongside it, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. If you write in through the contact form, that message is delivered to AJ Labs LLC so it can be answered.

Your choices

Export your data at any time, on any tier.
Delete your account, and everything in it, at any time.
Turn reminders off, which stops the notification token being used.
Ask what is held about you, or ask for it to be corrected or removed, by writing to support@logishome.app.

Children

Logis is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to the address below and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who can see it, the date at the top will change and the app will say so. Continuing to use Logis after a change means the updated policy applies.
